Retomi stores tasks, thoughts, progress, preferences, and account information to help you plan, start, and return. An account is required to use the app. Tasks are saved on your device and synchronized with your account when connected.

AI assistance

When you request AI assistance, the task text, completed and remaining steps, time budget, comparable time estimate, and context and conversation messages you submit are sent to OpenAI to generate guidance. Retomi saves your conversation history in your account and caches it on your device so you can return to the task; it is included in data export and removed when you delete the account. If you request AI day review, selected tasks and their reminders, estimates, and fixed commitments for that day are also sent. Avoid submitting sensitive information that is not needed. Retomi requests responses with API storage disabled; provider processing and retention follow OpenAI’s policies. We do not train our own models on your task content.

Optional captures and support

Voice notes and selected images remain on the capture device. System dictation may use your device speech provider. Sending audio for transcription or an image for recognition is a separate choice and sends that capture to OpenAI. Review the result before using it. Optional emotion, sleep and medication notes sync to your account; Retomi does not diagnose or advise doses. Calendar access imports only the events you select and does not modify your calendar. A shared focus session exposes only session presence and completion to the invited account, until you leave or the session expires. Device handoff shares your focus state with your own account. Widgets show generic actions without task titles. Signing out keeps private local captures for the same account; account deletion removes cloud records and captures on the deleting device. Delete local copies on other devices separately.

Accounts and payments

Account passwords are stored as salted hashes. Email accounts use a password. Google sign-in shares a verified account identifier, email and name with Retomi; the Google password is never received. Apple and Google handle payment details when purchases are enabled; Retomi stores subscription identifiers and verified entitlement status. Purchases are disabled in this prototype.

Optional feedback

Feedback about whether Retomi made a task easier is off by default. If you enable it, you may skip each question. Submitted answers are saved with your task in your account and data export, are not sent to the AI, and can be deleted in Preferences. No external analytics or session recording is added.

Your controls

In the app, open You to export your data, change preferences, delete items, or delete your account. You can also delete an account on this website after confirming your email and password. Deletion removes account records, sessions, cloud tasks, thoughts, preferences, AI conversations and usage records, and subscription links. Store cancellation is separate from account deletion.

Providers and website

Railway hosts the API, website, and database. OpenAI processes AI requests. Apple and Google process mobile purchases when enabled. If configured, Resend sends password-recovery emails. This website does not run the mobile app, use advertising trackers, or store sign-in credentials. Credentials entered for deletion are used only to authenticate the requested action. Server logs record request metadata and errors, not task bodies or passwords. We do not sell your task data.

Contact and release status

This is an early prototype. For privacy questions, contact the maintainer through Fabio’s profile; do not post private account information publicly. Operator contact and retention policies must be finalized before a public store launch.
